OUR MISSIONNashville Design Week convenes our local design community to celebrate design outcomes, advance cross-disciplinary learning and strengthen the rigor of design practice in Nashville.
Our History
Nashville Design Week was founded in 2018 with the desire to make connections across a vast spectrum of creative fields in Nashville. It all started with a simple idea: Let’s stop only talking to ourselves. Nashville Design Week aims to get design-minded people out from behind their desks, into the community, and engaged in conversations.
Since then, NDW has planned and hosted a week-long event annually in the Fall, including dozens of locally-hosted panels, exhibitions, and workshops spanning various fields of design.
In 2019, Nashville Design Week became an independent 501(c)3 non-profit, forming its first Board of Directors in 2020.
The Team
Nashville Design Week is organized by a remarkable team of volunteers who share a curiosity about design and a commitment to community. Meet the people helping connect ideas, disciplines, and neighbors through a shared love of great design.
