Nate Hutcheson
Partnerships Chair, Executive Board Member
Nate Hutcheson is a multidisciplinary designer who currently serves as the Partnerships Chair for NDW. As soon as Nate arrived in Nashville, he joined the Nashville Design Week community. Three years later, he’s still here, managing sponsorships and building relationships with the wonderful, unique, and creative people that call this city home. His favorite thing about his role is the access it provides to stories and disciplines from every field. (And also, the fashion, wow. Designers dress so well.)
By day, Nate works on the award-winning marketing team at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Before stepping into his role with the Chamber, he spent nearly five years at an advertising agency, which shaped his belief that design is more than how things look — it’s how people connect and communicate.
His deep respect for design as communication began at Western Kentucky University and has only grown since. Outside of work, you’ll find him cooking, cheering on Nashville SC & Green Bay Packers, running, or reading about any topic he finds interesting.
Nate believes good design can nudge a city forward in quiet or loud ways. And that sometimes, it just needs to make you feel something.
